Grew up in a very nominal Christian home. Mom was the believer.
He graduated high school and then went on to college to be a Chemist. He was saved
at the age of 17 in a revival service.
Met Deanna in high school and got married in 1961 at the height of the Berlin Wall
crisis.
Moved to Ft. Bragg, N.C. for less than a year and then moved to Akron, OH. Started
back to college to become a Chemist and that was accomplished in 1973. Took his
wife and three children to Wabash, IN, to work as a rubber chemist for General Tire and
Rubber Co.
Soon after moving to Wabash, he and Deanna were both invited to visit the Christian
and Missionary Alliance during the same week, so they did and soon knew that this
was the church for them.
One evening shortly after, the Lord spoke to Wayne about getting his walk with Him
going in the deeper life that He had for him. He went and talked to the Pastor who led
him in a prayer for that very thing and his life changed dramatically.
Soon after, during one of the church services, he felt the call of the Lord on his life to
be a pastor. So, the family packed up and left Wabash for Toccoa, GA. to go to Bible
College. While there, he was asked to become an Intercessor for a deliverance
ministry at the college. That ministry has been part of his service to the Lord ever
since.
After Bible College, they moved to Danville, IL, to pastor a church for 6 years, then onto
Kokomo, IN, for 5 years. After that in 1990, he became pastor of a church in St. Peter,
MN, for 20 years. Then retirement and moved back to Kokomo, IN, to be part of his
daughter and family’s lives.
During his ministry, he has worked with many people who are troubled by darkness
and affliction by the enemy of our souls. He uses a Bible based way of seeing them be
delivered and free to be able to live for the Lord.
He has been active in a Free Methodist church in Kokomo, IN, for 7 years now. And
seeing many more people become free from the enemy’s hold on their lives and able to
be used victoriously for the Lord.
Deanna grew up with a very faithful to the Lord, mother, who was the example that she
wanted to be. She was saved at the age of 16 at a revival in the Methodist church
where she grew up. Has mostly been a stay at home mother for their three children
and thankful for that opportunity.
She did secretarial work at different times and also was an ass’t postmaster for 19
years.
Deanna has been able to be used to help in the deliverance ministry all these years and
her gift, mostly, is in teaching young children the Bible and helping them to pray the
prayer of salvation and become strong in the Lord as they face this world of many evils.
Looking forward to the sky opening and seeing our Lord lifting us up to be with Him
forever.
